I’m a therapist based in Los Angeles and provide online and in-person therapy for clients in California. Although I work with a variety of clients, I specialize in couples work, women’s issues, reproductive and maternal mental health, as well as relational trauma. To put it simply, I work with people who are struggling in their relationships and often times this included couples and parents. Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked as a doula and childbirth educator, and in the entertainment industry. This has led me into a creative approach to this work and I have a deep understanding of how becoming a parent can impact your identity and your relationships.
I recognize the therapeutic connection is an opportunity for developing greater understanding, acceptance and growth in your life. Using empathy, humor, and curiosity I offer a space of safety and security to process life's challenges. I care deeply for my clients and I am also able to hold them accountable (in a gentle way) when necessary.
I'm a registered associate marriage and family therapist (#143988) and a registered associate professional clinical counselor (#15473) working in private practice under the supervision Aurisha Smolarski, LMFT (#90391).
I earned a Masters in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University. For my undergraduate career, I graduated magna cum laude with dual undergraduate degrees from the Honors College at The University of Georgia. More recently, I have completed training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), the Trauma Resiliency Method (TRM), Postpartum Support International (PSI), American Association of Sexuality Educators Counselors and Therapists (AASECT) as well as grief and Internal Family Systems (IFS).
Finding what will make you feel expansive is at the heart of my work. I look forward to meeting you where you’re at and working with you to build a more empowered life.
